Grain of Ink

Sex at Dawn

mouth to mouth, breath stolen,

a gasp swallowed whole.

hands map ribs, hips,

the hard press of want

dragging us open,

breaking us down to skin,

to sweat, to need.

teeth at my throat,

a plea or a warning—

i arch, i answer.

your name lives between my legs,

spilled from my lips,

written in the way i move,

the way i take you deeper,

demanding,

desperate.

the night is long,

and i will not leave you

untouched,

unmarked,

unruined.
